Labor Law

The goal of the National Labor Relations Act, Railway Labor Act and the Federal Service Labor-Management Relations Act is to equalize the bargaining power between employers and employees. These labor laws grant employees the right to unionize, and allow employees to engage in certain activities in order to achieve greater fairness in the workplace. The labor laws also give employers certain rights as well. For this reason, individuals who are thinking about organizing within the workplace should consult with attorneys who are well-versed in labor law matters.

The attorneys of Tanner and Associates have spent many years representing some of the finest labor organizations in the country. We have represented unions in strikes, unfair labor practice proceedings, collective bargaining negotiations, worker grievances, and arbitrations involving employee discipline and contract interpretation. We have represented unions in those matters in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Florida, Oklahoma, Kansas and other states.

We are very proud of the work we do on behalf of our union clients because we believe in the work that they do on behalf of American workers. For many decades, American labor unions have done more than any other group to protect workers’ rights, safety and quality of life. Tanner and Associates is proud to be a small part of those efforts and we consider it a great privilege to be of service to our labor union clients.
